Los platos t\u00edpicos m\u00e1s representativos son: mazamorra de pl\u00e1tano verde con guanta (guatuza, armadillo, danta o tapir); locro de yuca con bagre (carachama, bocachico) y carnes secas de guanta, guatuza, armadillo, danta, tapir; \u00abChontacuro\u00bb (un gusano) preparado como maito y pinchos al carb\u00f3n, el uchumanga, se prepara aj\u00ed con cualquier carne ejemplo uchumanga de pescado. Lo que m\u00e1s consume el turista es el maito de tilapia, carachama, bocachico y menudencia estos se envuelven en hojas de uchu panga, iyu panga y llaqui panga, se amarran y son azadas, tambi\u00e9n expenden el maito de carachama, guanta, palmito de chonta y ramos, churo.
